LGBTI equality and human rights in Europe and Central Asia

Registration for the event is closed.

Who is this event for?

The Gathering Online is intended as a space to discuss priorities for the LGBTI movement in Europe and Central Asia. The event is primarily aimed at:

  • Representatives of ILGA-Europe member organisations
  • Representatives of LGBTI organisations working in Europe and Central Asia
  • Allies of the LGBTI movement in Europe and Central Asia (institutions, funders, civil society organisations)

In order to make this space as accessible, interactive and safe as possible, ILGA-Europe may deny access to registrants falling outside of these categories.

However, a number of plenary sessions will be live-streamed and accessible to the wider public.

Registration for the event is closed!

It is our priority to make sure that the Gathering Online is a safe space for all participants. The registration link will not be posted publicly but only shared by email with ILGA-Europe's members, partners and allies of the LGBTI movement in Europe and Central Asia.

To make sure that only LGBTI activists and allies will have access to the event, we have put in place a 2-step registration process:

  • Step 1 (7-27 September) – Register online: ILGA-Europe will review your registration details to assess that you fit in the categories as listed above. For security reasons we will be verifying affiliations with organisations and/or previous collaboration with ILGA-Europe. You will receive a notification by email confirming your participation by the end of September.

  • Step 2 (1-12 October) – Create your profile on the event platform: You will receive an invitation to create your profile on the online event platform. Once this is done, you can start connecting with other attendees, browsing the programme and booking sessions – some interactive sessions have limited capacity!
