ARES - Artistic Education System for Social Inclusion of young Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Adults

ARES is an European consortium with partners from Italy, Netherlands, Estonia, Poland and the UK working to rise awareness of the national and local communities and to develop a wider transnational discussion on how cultural media can help shape a more tolerant society for young adult lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgenders.

Think Before You Speak:Making Life Better For LGBT Youth

This project from Malta Gay Rights Movement aims to address the difficulties encountered by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth related to the recognition of their sexual orientation and/or gender identity in a society that may not always be eagerly willing to accept difference.

RAINBOW – Rights Against INtolerance: Building an Open-minded World

The project connects EU gay and lesbian associations, schools, media professionals promoting the rights of children and young people to their sexual identity and orientation and who fight against homophobia, in order to A) study stereotypes and B) challenge them.

It Takes All Kinds

The project “It takes all kinds” was coordinated by the Danish Institute for Human Rights (DIHR) and is an international cooperation between ten European countries, aimed at eliminating discrimination, homophobia and transphobia in schools throughout EU. ILGA-Europe was the external evaluator on the project. The project started in 2010 and will run until the end of 2012.
