Many of ILGA-Europe's member organisations are working on specific issues faced by young or older LGBTI people. 

Other non-LGBTI specific projects or organsiations working on age:

  • Age Platform Europe is a European network of around 167 organisations of and for people aged 50+ which aims to voice and promote the interests of the 150 million senior citizens in the European Union and to raise awareness on the issues that concern them most.
  • European Youth Forum is a European network that organises studies, research, debates, seminars, meetings, publications, information or actions having the defence of the youth's interest in Europe as goal.
  • Polari (United Kingdom) works for better services for older LGBT people.
  • Age UK (United Kingdom) works to improve later life for everyone by providing life-enhancing services and vital support. The organsation has a section devoted to the concerns and issues of older LGBT people.
  • LGBT Health and Wellbeing (United Kingdom) is running the project LGBT Age. The project  is aiming to promote health and wellbeing and create social opportunities for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people aged 50 and over in Greater Glasgow, Edinburgh and the Lothians.
