Micah Grzywnowicz is the International Advocacy Advisor at RFSL, the Swedish Federation for LGBTQ Rights and leads the organization's UN advocacy work with specific focus on the Agenda 2030 and Sustainable Development Goals. Micah is a member of the UNDP Civil Society Advisor Committee since 2017, which is an advisory body systematizing the consultation process between UNDP and civil society actors at the global level, the CSAC currently functions as the main institutional mechanism for dialogue between civil society leaders and UNDP senior management.
Previously, they worked at the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Council of Europe and assisted in preparing the report 'Discrimination on grounds of sexual orientation and gender identity in Europe'. Some of the expertise areas include the rights of trans and gender non-conforming people.
Micah has a Master's degree in Human Rights from the Central European University in Budapest.
